Finding Long-Tail Keywords Using Google Related Searches: Another popular method to find long-tail keywords is using Google Related Searches. You should enter the keyword in Google search and then scroll down the page till you reach the “Searches Related to …”section. The best way to do this is to find some long-tail suggestions using Hit-Tail. Once you have the long-tail keywords, you can create the phrases. Keep in mind not to use long phrases as Google won’t show any suggestions for it. Your search phrase should be about three to four words long.
Conduct Your Own AdWords Campaign to Find High-Tail Keywords: If you have time and are ready to spend some money on research, then you can spend some time to compile a list of keywords that can lead to conversions and then conduct your own AdWord campaign. Even though it is expensive and time consuming, this method is considered to be the most effective way to find out the high-value keywords that can result in conversions.
SEMRush to find High-Value Keywords: SEMRush is a great tool that you can use to find out the keywords used by your competitors. Once you have prepared the list of competitor websites, you need to open the SEMRush tool and then enter the URL. Hit Paid Search. The tool will run through the website and collect the list of top keywords that the website is presently bidding on. Once the report is prepared, you can sort by CPC to find out the keyword with highest CPC. Using those keywords, you can also attract draw traffic to your website.
Google Search Console: Even though many neglect this approach, it is one of the easiest ways to find out high-tail keywords. Using Google Search Console, you can find those high value keywords present in your site that are already generating traffic and are top ranked. By making some tweaks to them, you can improve the rank of those keywords. To find the keywords, you need to open Google Search Console and then navigate to the section “Search Traffic/Search Analytics”. Now you can sort the keywords based on the number of clicks they got, the average rank, impressions etc. By selecting the Pages option from the top, you can easily find out which pages rank for which keywords.
